Project description
Enny is an energy scale-up founded through a partnership between Hafslund and Obos, with a mission to deliver intelligent, self-produced solar energy solutions for commercial and residential buildings. By combining Hafslund’s deep expertise in Norwegian energy and innovation with Obos’s knowledge of housing development, Enny is uniquely positioned to provide impartial advice and smart technology in a rapidly evolving energy landscape.

In 2023, as part of design studio Mos and a team of collaborators, I focused on the design development of Enny’s visual identity. My role involved working with both the client and my team to translate strategic insights and research into a clear, future-focused brand. I was responsible for the full execution of the identity, from concept and strategy through to final delivery.

A key challenge was expressing Enny as more than a solar energy provider. Their ambition is to democratize access to energy by creating a system rooted in sharing—where energy use can actively enable access for others. While powerful, this idea of collective responsibility and positive change was abstract and required a strong, tangible visual interpretation.

The final identity centers on the idea of sharing. This is reflected in a simple monogram logo derived from the letter “E,” shaped to resemble two people in conversation, and supported by soft forms, the Altform typeface, and a flexible color system. The result is a vibrant, approachable, and adaptable identity that balances technological credibility with optimism, positioning Enny as a people-first company driving meaningful change.
