While working with Mesh I had the chance to help them establish their system for signage and wayfinding starting with their Newest hub at Youngstorget. The team at Mos and I started by doing site visits while Mesh Youngstorget was still under construction to ensure that the flow visitors experience while in the space is seemlessly integrated into how the space is used.
When establishing the design system itself, we knew that the signage should be something simple and easy to replicate in other Mesh hubs. With that in mind it was necessary to rely heavily on the brand’s black and white color palette which helped both the clarity, visibility, and flexibility.
The result is a simple, yet effective system that has enough of Mesh’s DNA to suit any of the brands hubs. The system is infinitely expandable because of its simplicity.
